Before coming to Colorado in 2015, I was a cultural exchange teacher at WCPS in North Carolina. Here I taught ESL and Spanish as a World Language and met beautiful people through School and Zumba Fitness Instruction. This is my 8th year at DPS. I’ve been supporting our community in different roles. I am originally from Lima, Perú, and received my Bachelor’s in Education from Federico Villareal National University and my Master’s in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado. In addition to teaching, I’m a part-time Zumba Fitness Instructor at Denver Recreation Centers. Apart from work and Zumba, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and seven-year-old son.
