Early Childhood Education

Angie Curington

ECE 3-4 Head Start teacher

Greetings McGlone Academy! I am pleased to join the McGlone team as the ECE 3-4 Head Start teacher. I have been teaching in DPS for 15 years in ECE, 2nd grade, math intervention, and K-8 theatre. I hold a bachelor’s degree in childhood development/early childhood education and my master’s degree is in integrated arts across the curriculum. I’m a proud alum of Colorado State University! Go Rammies! When I’m not at McGlone, I sing with the Mary Louise Lee Band and bake lots of tasty goodies. I believe all children should have access to joy and success in learning. I love to blend music, movement, and art with content to make learning fun and accessible. I’m so grateful to help my preschoolers build a strong foundation for their future academic and social success.
