Thank you for visiting the McGlone Elementary website!   We hope you enjoy learning about our wonderful school, our inquisitive students, supportive staff, and caring parents.  McGlone Elementary is located in the Montbello Community in Denver, Colorado.  Our school serves approximately 565 ECE-5th grade students.

The mission of McGlone Elementary is to guide students in the development of their character and academic potential through academically rigorous, content-rich educational programs.  As a staff we will accomplish this mission by:

• Creating a safe nurturing environment that encourages students to accept and find the best in themselves and others 
• Challenging students to reach their full academic potential
• Helping students find the inner confidence they need to take risks and set goals in their lives
• Instilling in students a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves, others, their school, and their community
• Preparing the students of McGlone Elementary to be the teachers,  leaders, and dreamers of tomorrow
